8 March - traditional meeting at the 5th SFR Club
On the occasion of International Women's Day, a festive gathering dedicated to the female soldiers and civilian employees of the 5th Special Forces Regiment was held at the 5th Special Purpose Regiment Club. The pleasant atmosphere was enhanced by a symbolic gift - a flower, which was personally presented to each of the women present by the commander of the 5th SFR, Colonel Peter Žochňák and the commanding NCO, Command Sergeant Major Ján Munka. In his speech, the regimental commander expressed his sincere thanks to more than two dozen women for their selfless work and significant contribution to the regiment. Small refreshments were also provided and the event was made possible thanks to the financial support of the 5th SFR and Special Forces Association.
This gathering was once again an opportunity to show respect and gratitude to the women who, through their service and work, contribute to the successful functioning of the Regiment.
